BLUE RIDGE REGIONAL JAIL AUTHORITY
POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT: Applications are being accepted for the following position.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Will be responsible for typing documents and reports, maintaining accounts receivable, entering/updating data in inmate records system and files, interacting with courts, and other general clerical duties.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 20 years of age or older, high school graduate or equivalent. Minimum of one year business office experience. Must be proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office. Must have a valid Virginia driver’s license.
SALARY RANGE: Commensurate Upon Experience

BLUE RIDGE REGIONAL JAIL AUTHORITY
POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT: Applications are being accepted for the following position.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary responsibilities are the care and security of inmates.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a U. S. citizen, 20 years of age or older, high school graduate or equivalent, and have a valid Virginia driver’s license. Drug screening and extensive background checks will be performed. If not certified, must satisfactorily complete basic jailor training as required by the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services within twelve (12) months of employment.
SALARY RANGE: $49,391 ($51,643 After one year) Effective Immediately

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for the application and administration of nursing skills in the correctional facility.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 20 years of age or older, high school graduate or equivalent, or have completed an accredited nursing program leading to certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse. One year of nursing experience preferred. Must be able to work day or evening shift and every other weekend. A drug screening and extensive background checks will be performed.
SALARY RANGE: Commensurate Upon Experience

RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible for the application and administration of nursing skills in the correctional facility.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 20 years of age or older, high school graduate or equivalent, or have completed an accredited nursing program leading to certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse. One year of nursing experience preferred. Must be able to work evening shift 2:00-10:30 and some weekends. A drug screening and extensive background checks will be performed.
SALARY RANGE: Commensurate Upon Experience
